200 nl : why do my bluffs never work
I am 22/20/3 no info on villain. Fwiw I never bluff, maybe like one hand in 150 I am involved.
When he calls my 3 bet I put him on TT+ AQo+ When he calls my flop bet I put him mainly on TT JJ QQ maybe a slowplayed AA KK. I would play AA KK and AK the same. Re: 200 nl : why do my bluffs never work
He should fold AK on this flop IMHO. Having only been called I think the second barrel is a good bet as he'll likely fold 1010-QQ given that of a range of JJ-AA+AK he is beaten by most of it.
I think villain has KK or AA here and your timing is just unfortunate. |

Re: 200 nl : why do my bluffs never work
He called your 3bet PF so K helps him not you. Try to bluff when a card falls that you think the opponent will think has helped you and not him... just take your thinking to another level if you know what I mean.

Man, makes you feel a little sick that! Some good timing on villains part although I personally would be thinking of abandoning my turn plan when that king hits. The king on the turn is defo more likely to hit villain than hero given the action so far IMHO.

Re: 200 nl : why do my bluffs never work
So you float with AK in 3-bet pots if you don't hit and the board is low regularly? That must be great for people who's raising range is AK, 99-AA and the occassional SC's. It's a dream come true for those with a tighter 3-bet range.
I 3-bet quite regularly and can say with confidence that peeling turn cards unimproved with AK here will lose money to me in the long run and there are peeps with far tighter 3-bet ranges than mine. |
