Disneyland: Astro Blasters

In my opinion, Astro Blasters is clearly the best ride at Disneyland. For those of you who haven't been on it, you ride in a small buggy and are given a gun similar to that of laser tag and you shoot targets to accumulate your score.

For those of you who have been on the ride, what is your highest score? Where do you pick up most of your points? (My personal best is now just over 1,000,000).
