Badugi Badugi Badugi
David:
Great note on Badugi. I think one of the more interesting concepts is when the conditions allow the hero to draw two (or more) cards. Although we know this isn't optimal strategy, any regular player of this game has experianced otherwise "world class" players call a raise with A2xx or even Axxx in the BB; how do we calculate the chances of improving for these multiple card draws? |

i think david should waste hes talents on a more popular form of poker [/ QUOTE ] Think outside the box - for professional players who frequent the high limit games at Bellagio its one of the more popular games in the mix at this point. David is often found playing in mixed games that includes Badugi. |

Re: Badugi Badugi Badugi
Badugi is actually one of the most popular games in high limit action. I want to hear more about it, since I play mid-high mixed games.

[/ QUOTE ] Meh... most Badugi theory is either trivial (see: this month's half-article) or horrendously complex (if you try to reason about snowing frequencies, for example.) Here is an old thread I dug up about drawing in Badugi (Padookie): http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/...3920006/page/3 |
