Default odds of hitting with suited connectors

okay its starting to piss me off. I havent hit [censored] with suited connectors this year.

So, how are the odds to hit either an open ended straight draw or two pair, or flush draw, or flop straight/flush?

Here is a good site that I think will help all of your above question. I could copy and paste, but you will find this page to be very helpful.

With suited connectors you will flop either two pair or a primary draw about 1 time in 8.

Roughly the same as flopping a set with a pocket pair.

So watch the Rule of 5 & 10 when you're playing these hands. Only call a raise when you have position on the raiser and it doesn't break the rule. You want effective stacks to be at least 60-75bb, more is better. Raise with them, but remember that when you do you're not really playing your cards. You're playing your position, your aggression and your opponent's tendencies.

I love playing SCs & small PPs. Just remember not to fall in love with them.

Amen, Only play them in position and if you can't throw your hand away, don't play them.

Brilliant! I never really saw the point of SC as I thought the chances of hitting a decent hand were much more than that - so I've just dumped them. Now that I see why they can be played like small PPs maybe I can bet more than one hand per orbit
