I understand that you can't reveal your hand to just one player, but why when the hand is announced to the entire table? Is this standard or just for the WSOP?

"I'm going to go use my phone, is that okay? Or are you going to give me a penalty for that too?" Tommy G remarked on his way out of the tournament area.
