Default AQs turned top pair... but now he\'s donking into me.

I only have 14 hands on villian... so no real reads. FWIW he literallys INSTA-CALLED my flop lead.

Party Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $90.55
SB: $113.73
Hero (BB): $140.66
UTG: $95.75
MP: $154.34
CO: $78.78

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG calls $1, MP calls $1, 2 folds, SB calls $0.50, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, SB calls $5

Flop: ($14) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $9, SB calls $9

Turn: ($32) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $10, Hero...??

Call or Raise?

I do not like your cbet size as it is too small. But if that's the size of your normal cbet, that's fine I guess.

SB's small turn donk either means he has 9 and scared of A or he has 2p/set and wants to induce a raise. I like calling here because raising will most likely fold out all the worse hands and only get action from better. I like calling and making a value bet if checked to, or call/fold depending on the bet size etc.

i like calling for pot control. not sure what a raise does on the turn, because he will be calling/raising with mostly better hands if you do raise. no need to protect your hand on this drawless board. hope for a small bet or check on river, then maybe go for value if its checked to you.

I agree with anycall. With reads you can make a point for a value-raise here, but I think vs an unknown this is very marginal and you might get pushed off the best hand. (He might think the turned A gave him the nuts with AT/AJ type of hand)

I probaly bet like 10.5 on the flop or so, but no big deal.

I call the turn every time. If you raise, he pretty much folds any hands you beat, and takes you to value town with 2-pair+.

I call most rivers too.

This was basically my exact thought process. I thought MAYBE miniraise the river for value because AT/AJ has to call, but I thought A5/A9/other stuff I beat then gets another to chance to raise.

Anyone think a miniraise for value is at all worth it?
