Taj automatic shufflers have arrived
The Taj now has shuffling machines in the "high" limit area. They are spreading 20-40 hold'em and 40-80 stud in that area. Also, on Friday night they were spreading 50-100 hold'em. The only downside for 20-40 players is that they now have to hear the constant arguments of the 40-80 stud players. I've never seen a poker game that provokes as many disputes.
With respect to game selection, I walked into the Taj at 7 am Sunday morning. The third 20-40 game was just breaking, and 2 20-40 games that had been running all night kept running until I left at 1:30 pm. On Saturday night, I played 20-40 at the Borgata. There were three main games and one must-move feeding them. Also, there seemed to be more 10-20 games running (around 5 tables) than I remember in the past. |

Re: Taj automatic shufflers have arrived
They had the area closed off for that when I was there during the Borgata Winter Open. They just opened it now, or you haven't been there since then also?

I played low limit there on Thursday and the shufflers were in use.

[/ QUOTE ] I didn't see any shufflers President's Day weekend (but I wasn't playing in the high limit section). This was my first time down since then. |

Re: Taj automatic shufflers have arrived
*sniff* I walked into the Taj two weeks ago after a 5 month hiatus from AC. I barely knew the place :-( The 10-20 was just as soft though so its all good.

Some tables have them, some don't. I was just there and would guess that 30% of the tables have been converted.
