Things you see at the Taj, not the Borgata
Played some 20-40 at the Taj this weekend. On Saturday afternoon I dropped by the Borgata. There was only one 20-40 game running and a list with 5 names. I hightailed it over to the Taj, where there were three main games plus a must move game, along with a decent list. Seems like the mid-limit players are coming back to the Taj.
On Friday night, the Taj had a 3000-6000 game going, so the high action is not totally gone either. Of course the Taj also gives you some things you'd never see at the Borgata. At around 4 am Saturday, a completely desheveled guy with a torn shirt came to our table and tried to sell his watch to get gambling money. When everyone declined, he cursed out the table. Later that morning, a homeless guy came in begging for money. One guy gave the homeless man a sandwich, but he kept pressing for cash. Eventually, the man left. These are the added benefits of the Taj experience. |

How often does the taj have 30/60 through 100/200 LHE going?

if you had to compare the taj 20 to the borg. 20, which is softer? [/ QUOTE ] Taj players are worse, but much wilder. Variance will be much higher at the Taj. I think 20-40 players are coming back to the Taj because of a combination of (1) the weaker gambooling regulars, (2) the Borgata's restriction on poker rates, and (3) to some extent, the relative quality of dealers and floorpeople. |

Variance will be much higher at the Taj thanks. i haven't played at either, but am playing to make a trip sometime soon. good to know. That was every other word out of his mouth for us. |

Re: Things you see at the Taj, not the Borgata
Is there a 10/20 game at the Taj, and how does it compare to the Borg? I have no complaints thus far with the 10/20 at the Borg, but I wouldn't mind checking out the Taj if it is equally donktastic.
