[/ QUOTE ] If one assumes that a demon under a lot of suspicion is going to try to jump into someone under almost no suspicion, if the Demons hit the diabolist, they can safely sit in him and then possess someone else. Then, as long as he stays clear of suspicion, they can jump into him without fear of hitting a power role, and hide out. There are many other advantages I can see also, but I'm not going to go into greater detail about how the diabolist could be useful for obvious reasons. Still, I don't think we can classify the demons possessing the Diabolist as a "waste" for the demons.
