I did too, but when I went on a diet a few years ago, I gave up sugar cold turkey. I went about 3 weeks drinking only water because anything "diet" was just nasty. I then tried a diet soda and it wasn't all that bad. It's like I forgot what a regular soda tased like. Eventually, after a couple weeks of drinking diet soda, I got used to it and really liked it.

I now can't drink a regular soda. It tastes like dog crap to me. I still don't like Splenda or Saccharin, but I can drink anything with Aspartame and really enjoy it.

I don't drink much soda anymore. I probably average a can a day when I probably used to drink 6 or so a day. I drink a lot of iced tea and kool-aid and I make both with Aspartame.

Anyway, based on this thread I bought some Cherry Coke Zero and give it a 7/10 or so. I don't really like Cherry Coke but on first taste it seems to taste exactly the same, so if anyone reading this does like Cherry Coke I'd recommend it.

Diet Berry and Cream Dr. Pepper sucks. Unable to find Diet Cherry and Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

flywf - not liking diet pepsi does not mean you wouldn't like Diet Pepsi Max imo.
They are completely different sodas to my taste.

I'm already prepared to murder someone if they decide to discontinue the product for some reason. GF thinks it might be wise for us to stock up in case of that event because we both know I'm not going to be able to handle it if such a thing were to happen.

some may think about how this crap drink stuff is taking over your lives. that said i like diet pepsi best. i drink diet since regular drinks almost all have high frutose corn syrup for sweetener.
