Weed Ice Cream (OOT Chef's help please)

I was thinking about this.

Any way, I got an Ice Cream attachement to my stand mixer and was thinking about making weed Ice cream.

I was thinking about simmering the weed in the cream/milk (maybe sugar?), then straining. Then I guess I would be adding the "flavors" after the weed/cream mixture has cooled, then add it to the ice cream maker.

Any idea how I should go abouts doing this, or even if this is remotely possible....

Should work if you do a "cooked custard" type of ice cream and cook the weed with the fats. I would probably go with chocolate.

This is very doable, I saw this product in a dispensary the other day. The potency will be determined by the length of the simmer in the cream (longer the simmer great the potency). Good luck let us know how this goes. BTW you need a lot of weed to do this effectively.

I'm thinkin' about using a 1/4-1/2 oz of crap weed and I'm guessing I should let it simmer for atleast 15 mins. I'll end up doing this next week. I was thinking about making it Mint Chocolate chip since it calls for green food coloring. I dunno, flavor is still up in the air.

I can't wait. I've been told by numerous people that this can't be done.

I can't help you out with a recipe - but I can tell you that it is possible. I had some a few years back in Vermont. To be honest, it tasted like [censored] but it definitely worked.

The easiest way to do it would be cookie dough ice cream.

Cook weed with butter;
Use weed butter in cookie dough;
Put weed cookie dough balls into your ice cream;
Enjoy

Your method will probably also work
