The Rose Parade

This is hysterical. It's cold and raining (heavily, for SoCal) in Pasadena and these poor kids are being forced to march around with their instruments for like 500 people. They've done a few close ups and the kids couldn't be more miserable.

Bob Eubanks just claimed there are still hundreds of thousands of people out there watching this. While I doubt that, I guess my "500" number stands corrected.

My old high school band is there. I dunno, even with all the rain, I still think it'd be pretty dang cool to be there.

on my local news last night the anchor said "this may be the first time the rose parade could be rained out. but organizers say it will go on tomorrow rain or shine."

It hasnt rained on the rose parade in like 70 years or something crazy like that.
