[/ QUOTE ]

no i meant why can't he have Ax after he c/r min flop and check turn, BEFORE the crai...i was arguing the merit in my turn bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

He can have Ax but you're only getting 2 streets of value anyway.

haven't played party 2/4 in forever but looks like a fold. I don't really mind the turn bet but I think checking might be better vs this type of player

mini raised flop and crai on turn scream big hand, i dont think he shows up with a bluff here so maybe he's valuebluffing aq, at

but his shoving range also includes a2, a9 aj j9, 22 axc

i think this is a fold

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep i think so as the turn made a flush possible on river so maybe getting it in good with AJ/22 or maybe he has AQs?lol

Checking turn is good if the guy is competent. I don't know why we're assuming he is.

since he's not a reg and doesn't have taggy stats, i think it's more sensible to assume he isn't competent. i'm still not convinced checking the turn is correct, seems kinda results-orientated.

If you bet turn, at least do it with the intention of snapcalling. It's been mentioned a lot, how often have you seen anyone check calling turn and river after check minraising flop? That really is the key for me, I hardly ever see it. Just because we have the best hand 90% of the time doesn't mean we should bet. When we bet turn here, he will fold soooooooo often.

I would call his flopraise with KQo and bet/fold the turn.
