10NL Flop TPTK, Not so good turn

unknown villain, is flop standard or is calling usually better? the turn isnt a great card but does anyone advocate a push or call?

Fold without a read. Betting the flop is fine but but the overbet might have made the villian narrow down your range of hands.

If you did smoothcall on the flop the pot would be 1.95 and if the villian bet the pot you could possibly call with your bluff catcher/nut flush draw.

I wouldn't like just calling the donkbet on the flop. It doesn't help you narrow down the range of your opponent at all and it would be exactly what a flush draw wants. Would the donkbet have been closer to a PSB I could see just calling but 1/3 pot just screams "I'm drawing, please don't raise me" IMHO.

TPTK is a good enough hand to raise for value in this spot. The turn is a fold for me. limp/call with the action postflop could very well be a set or a flush but usually not a worse Jack.

I would push. You have the best hand a decent % of the time and if villain has a flush you have a solid 11 outs. You need to have 37% equity to get it in on the turn and vs a made flush you are 25% and vs trips you are 23%. I think a very likely holding for villain is a J and spade so get it in.

I find it very very hard to put villain on 44, 77 or JJ after this action.

I agree, this was more of a comment regarding limp/calls with postflop action.
Given this postflop action it does not look like a set (or quads), but it doesn't look like a Jack (with or without a flush draw) either. One small donkbet that calls a raise and then a almost PSB after the draw hits is a weird line to take with xsJ
