Villain has 1200 (seems like a solid TAG), Taylor covers.
He raises w Tc8c from MP to 35, villain OTB and BB call.

Flop Tx 6c 5c, Taylow bets 80, villain calls

Turn - Qc (267 pot), Taylor bets 205, villain thinks a bit and calls.

River - 2s (677 pot), Taylor bets 480, villain shoves allin, 412 more to Taylor, he tanks and folds getting more than 5 to 1.


What do you think?

I call but what does villain have? 2 worse flush combo (97c, 43c) a ton of better flush combos (like 20) 2 pair, set, or a retarted bluff.

Sets and pairs play these boards fast.

Retarted bluff is a relatively small part of his range because he is effectively less than minraising and no one folds to min raises, so no one is bluffing. If the retarted bluff portion and the set/two pair part of his range is really slim it is hard to justify a call getting 5-1. Its just very opponent dependent fold. I call because most opponnets are capable of retardation more often than you expect.

well for that price I would pay to find out! even solid tags missplay hands. I would understand more if the board would be paired.

I think I've seen all CR vids, but I don't remember this one. I seriously like a fold since I don't see a solid TAG shoving worse on this river, especially with these stacks (I would just assume he has the nut flush). Personally I always find room for a crying call here, but I'm not Taylor Caby. I'd say regardless of whether he's getting 5:1, vs a good solid TAG, there's almost no chance IMO of him shoving a worse flush on this riv.
