Betting the flop here is really bad.
It is really hittable. Almost every better hand calls. Almost every worse hands fold and you have a relatively strong draw, which can't call a raise.

[/ QUOTE ] Why is betting that bad? I agree that all the worse hands fold and most of the better hands call, but I think a lot of players will bet worse hands into you on the turn after a check. That's why I will usually bet this flop and be done with it unimproved. I don't think you have much of a draw here if behind so if you are CR'd you aren't giving much up.
