it will take 3/4 years just to work back out if the us gov is aggressive against it...
i think we are 5/6 minumum with a 65% chance it gets tighter and doesnt loosen up until USA casinos get in on it and they figure out how to tax it.

Thanks for the responses.

I guess there are no sites with a lot of mid-limit hold'em games. Shame. I guess the days of getting 300+ plus hands per hour playing four tables is over, at least for now.

And yes, I know a lot of players switched to no-limit, but that happened before the law changed. But more relevant is that NEW players are playing no-limit more than limit, especially if they join sites like Full Tilt because of the TV commercials.

I just find it hard to believe that all these players just stopped playing online and suspected there might be a new "Party" site out there I didn't discover yet. But given how easy it was to beat 20/40 Paradise and 30/60 Party, I guess there was mostly fish in those games too.

It's a shame. Short-handed limit games are so much fun. You get to play a lot of hands for profit.

No-limit is more boring to me. Besides, I suppose there aren't that many no-limit games with 5/10 blinds or higher, which plays about as high at the 20/40 limit games.

No Limit is King for the moment. (I recently switched from 5/10 LHE to NL)

Used to be that the biggest game online was the 300/600 Limit on Crypto... Now you have 200/400 NO LIMIT running daily.

Lots of No Limit players at every level. Come on in, the water is fine!

Online limit started dying even before UIGEA. When Party brought in 12-tabling 1 1/2 years ago, things got tougher- it's like the good players multiplied. Then they brought in resizable tables. Bots, nits, player aids made the game too difficult for the casual player.

Luckily NL got popular, but then UIGEA struck. Losing the casual American player has really put a damper on online poker.

If you're going to play poker, it's got to be NL. Limit is dying out in B&Ms too.
