All but the first player dropping out should win money
One correction that will happen is that the tournaments will start to give money to more people so that it makes sense to play them from a money point of view rather than it being a waste of time. All but the first player dropping out should win money; the money of that one player gets divided between the remaining players.
One needs to get paid like in cash games, though not that tournaments are only about +EV, but also about waiting the weaker players to make mistakes rather than push small edges, and waiting the other players at the same time to eliminate opponents, so one gets a part of their money, this being different from cash games. |

Brilliant! Fax this to Harrah's right away, there is still time for them to implement this chance before the main event.

I'm locking this for what I feel are obvious reasons.
The main being that spreading the money from one person to the rest wouldn't even cover the rake. |
