re OP, i'm surprised you complained about the hustle on chaweng. Thai hustle is a lot less aggressive than other third world countries. Plus if you learn a little thai they'll give up right away. Good pictures.

Tons of restaurants have seafood on ice outside, you pick what you want and pay by per 100 grams.


Standard white tourists.


One of many dudes that wander the beach selling stuff. I guess he grills bananas or some such thing. There are also tons of old ladies trying to push pedicures.


This is why the frog shouldn't cross the road.


Last nights totally mediocre dinner. I knew it would suck, but they were playing some movie with Mr Bean, so in I went. Fried rice with shrimp (there were a few hiding under there).


These guys made sure nobody messed with me while I was eating.


Breakfast at Will Wait Bakery, it's a small chain. I'm not sure if there are any off the island, but I've seen at least four here. Its a little overpriced but they make an incredible cup of coffee.

Hot and Sour lemongrass soup with shrimp.


AND COFFEE!


Being the wild and crazy guy I am, I stayed in and watched Deal or No Deal [censored] NIGERIA! And drank Sang Som. Kids, don't drink Sang Som.
