Link to two days ago (one day before Cyrus was banned) when Andy announced he was leaving.
Also, I wanted to hold off on this to give this thread a few minutes of pleasantness out of respect for Andy, but since we kicked off the backstabbing, we're gonna need a new Mod. I was under the impression that [censored] was a temporary mod until Mason cooled off. I will start the discussion by nominating the most prominent posters from each side: Chris Alger and BluffThis!

Thanks for the nomination, but if Chris and I were made permanent mods this place would descend into chaos in quick order since we would be spending all of our time banning each other and deleting each other's posts, with no time left for the rest of you.

I resigned before the Cyrus banning. I disagree with his banning and have said so to the powers that be.
Thanks for the kind words, guys. For FlFishOn: I never imposed any ideological litmus tests on my moderating decisions. A poster who has virtually the same political viewpoints as I do on almost every issue, and who is a friend, stopped posting here because he disagreed with a mod decision I made. When I tried communicating with you in private to discuss decisions that involved you, I received no response from you. Anyway, it's hard to please everyone. Thanks again guys.
