Default How to get rid of Party\'s new \"chat-indicator smileys\"

Today's Party update now means that if a player turns their chat off (or is chat banned), they get a little smiley face symbol placed next to their name. Here is how to get rid of them and stop them interfering with HUDs, etc:

First goto the folder "C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\Images" and find the the three files:

a) "ChatOffIndicator_Deaf.gif"
b) "ChatOffIndicator_Mute.gif"
c) "ChatOffIndicator_MuteDeaf.gif"

Open each up in a paint package and re-size them all to 1x1 pixel (it might also be a good idea to pick a colour that merges well with your table mod colour).

For those of us non-paintshop certified. How do I do this?

Here is one:

Hehe, the link:

Just download it and replace the files by this one. If you want more of them (they are addicting) just look for "transparant pixel" at google images, and choose the "Small images" option.

Thanks Juk.

Melch: If you use windows go to Programs->Accessories->Paint.

Open offending files in Paint one at a time. Click "Image menu" ->attributes and then edit size as desired. Save changes.

Cool, I forgot that you can make GIFs transparent (most of the other Party images are JPEG and was too used to just re-colouring them).
