This is rediculous
After a 500+BB downswing leveling off here is today at 2/4:
 Why do the poker gods hate me? I am beating 1/2 and 1/2 6-max for over 8BB/100 for the last 5000 hands. 2/4 is not that much different!!!!

Because it's only 5000 hands, and that doesn't mean anything. You can practically run between +10 and -10 BB/100. Why don't people understand the brutal variance in this game? For most people who don't play more than say 100k hands, this short handed game is pure gambling.

So you ran SICK hot at 1/2... and now you whine about running bad at another limit? Ummm, variance? Get used to it, it gets worse the higher and shorter you play. Oh, and shorterm (10k hands) don't mean anything.

And it happens - basically, once you start whiffing with your overcards more then average, it's ovah, as you start to look like a bluff monkey, and you get played back at and called down with abandon. Even fish can smell blood in the water...myself, I'm moving to SNG's for a week or so, just for a presto chango re-arrango...
