what was your plan for checking into him on hand#1..deception? slow the pot down? CR?
IMO i lead the flop here Hand number two i think he will show you a missed flush with overs or an eight enough to make the call profitable.

I guess you can lead if you want to fold out 75% of the hands we beat, many of which will stab at the flop if we check.
