betgo, stop and go is really bad if it induces a blind to come in with a hand that takes equity away from ours

[/ QUOTE ]
Button's raise covers BB and if BB calls with a marginal hand, it does not reduce our expected cEV.

wtf how would a stop n go change bb's decision

i agree w/ betgo, in the actual hand I shoved, but after thinking about it for a while I think this is the one time I would ever ever stop n go

These ranges seem absurd...I think the number of people who will make it 10k here with J8s or JTo or whatever is virtually 0. Maybe I don't play the 100r enough, but from what I have played of it, those like always raise/fold to you/call bb shove. I'd expect to see some mediocre ace or small-mid pair virtually always. That said, it may still be a call/shove vs that range (too lazy to stove).

I think this is an easy fold. He probably doesn't have a big hand but he can beat KJs.

If we just look at aces and small pps, it is very close to pot odds. If villain understands short stack strategy, he is pushing very wide here. So this is somewhat villain dependent.

I think this is very close in cEV, so it is somewhat of a strategic decision if you want to gamble to double up. This depends on your style and the tournament situation.

I really think you guys are underestimating is shoving range and also how polarized it is to the bottom of his button raising range. Bet size tells ftw...I dunno i tend to post hands that suck to be posted because I like to argue for my non standard play due to some sort of feeling I had at the table as horrible/donkish as that sounds. Maybe I'm still wrong but dude had Q8o. I also think he folds A-rag hi on boards he misses so even if pushing is bad I tihnk SnG'ing is better than folding.
