200 NL. My KK runs into a 3-bet 165bbs deep.
Opponent is 24/8.5. I don't have a read outside of the pokertracker data. I hate these spots with KK, especially deep-stacked, and I tend to play very slow, since most players I have no history with, with these numbers, have a very tight 3-bet range. Playing slow gets more action when I'm ahead, since JJ, QQ, AK are going to be afraid of aces or kings if I 4-bet them PF. It allows me to actually get all-in when I'm ahead, since a QQ will have trouble believing I didn't re-raise PF, or play faster on the flop with a hand this good. The bet on the river made me sick. I actually had my mouse hovering over the call after I check, as I expected him to make a 100ish bet, but his push really scared me. How would you play this different?

I'll give a shot. I think you have to give him credit for JJ here unless you have seen him overbet bluff before.
FWIW I probablly bet the turn and play it from there. Tough hand. |

4 bet preflop.
Bet the flop. Bet the turn or CRAI on the turn. River, decision will be made for you by the time you reach it. As played, toss up, you only beat QQ or total air, but it's hard to imagine he plays AA like this. JJ wouldn't surprise me. |

Turn is ugly, I really don't understand why you didn't lead there.

i like your line as long as you fold the river. you are way too deep to even be considering a call.

Lead the turn. When he shoves there or calls and then raises AI on river fold.

I think you played this exactly right, assuming you folded the river.

Sorry for the anticlimactic finish, but I mucked the river.

Re: Results
I think you should have bet it somewhere still. I like leading the turn, but if you check call then I think maybe some kind of two way, block/vbet is in order on the river. He won't raise with less than a set hardly ever. Maybe something like $90-100.
