Re: 100NL trips IP facing push - scary board, ever fold?
in the 2nd hand your hand is much weaker obviously, with much more obvious straight hands hitting, and 2 higher sets, but i'm still not folding, because you have enough equity against 2 pairs and combo draws, and aren't crushed by a straight. obviously you could be drawing thin against a set, but w/e

Re: 100NL trips IP facing push - scary board, ever fold?
You can't be serious about considering folding hand 1, you have top set. 85 and 53 beat you, and if he has either, well, fill up. I don't see a 26/9/1.2 showing up with those ever here though, looks like 76, 66 or 44 most likely, all of which you are crushing. The second hand is much different. I'd consider calling and pushing a safe turn, or making a normal raise and calling a shove. Shoving is fine too if you'd do it with a draw and think he'll look you up with an overpair.

Results:
In the 1st hand, villain had 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and he turned the flush. In the 2nd hand, villain had 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and won with the str8. |
