Good spot for pot control?

Not a real read on opponent, but he seemed rather passive and not very good. I bet the flop because I was very sure he was on a draw and didnt think he could bluff me off on the river. Without a read, do you like Bet Turn - Checkfold River, or Check-Call Turn, Checkfold River better? If the turn went check-check I probably would have check-called river as well.

Check turn, the flop isn't drawy. Bet/fold or check/fold (since villain is passive) river if turn gets checked through
