Default $22 Deep Stack NL PS

Villian is a looser thinking player, who hasn't done anything out of line. My image is I've played a lot of pots, but kept a lot of the pots small for pot control with one pair hands until I hit a monster since there's a lot of room for play in these tourneys. Haven't shown any bluffs.

550 players, I'm around 29th out of ~285 left.

I have about 15K left, Villian has me covered. I don't have a time bank left because I accidently used it all up early on when I was away from my cpu. So I have around 15 seconds to decide what to do.

First of all, please use a converter.

Now: This is quite possibly the world's easiest push. What exactly are you afraid of here? If he's a "thinking" player as you say, he's raising pf with KK and he probably doesn't get this far with 79. 88 is the only possibility that beats you here, and most LAGs would raise that pf as well.

So I think you're good here like 95%+ of the time. Pooooooooosh.

SB may have a hand, but it's probably more like a K8 or 63 2-pair than anything that beats you. You should ONLY be afraid of 79, which is unlikely based on the flop and turn action unless villain is a complete donk. Shove.

Loose-[censored]-goose, and probably a small mistake.

No. Just.. no.

Consider that 75 and 54 are less likely to show up on riv.

This is gonna be Kx or two par across a lot of his range, sure.

But to discount 97 as being only there 5% of the time is simply incorrect. It's a fair bit higher than that.

It's still a shove though.

You're telling me a thinking player with an OESD with 97 check-calls a 3/4 pot turn bet after your flop raise? If so, maybe the read is off. I think 97 here would be extremeley unlikely. I still see 88 as the most (and only) likely hand you're losing to here... and yeah, maybe it is more than 5% but still nowhere near likely enough to consider folding here.

Only against certain players. And it is a rainbow board, so if he is holding exactly 97, he knows his outs are clean.

Yes, it's a small part of his range, but it isn't an non-existent part, since when it gets there, given how Hero played the hand repping strength, he can be sure he will get Hero's full stack.

97 is more likely than set over set. That said, this is most likely a weird Kx 2 pair or lower 2 pair. Those hands take the same river action too, which is why I said it's still a shove.

Yeah, push, seriously, there is nothing more you can do; I'm sorry if he has 888 or if his 97 got there, but KA, two pairs, a lower set, or something retarted (AA anyone?) also got there. So, you have no choice - this board is too dry for most players not to stack off here.

Sorry so late on any response...i'm sure no one will ever see it.

The entire hand I felt he had 79, and when the 5 hit on the river, and he lead out, I froze. I figured he was chasing knowing his outs were clean, as FM said. With only 15 seconds to act and already figuring he had 79, my time bank ran out and I folded, leaving me with 15K around the top 35% of the field. I ended up placing 3rd out of 550, and feel strongly that I would've been out had I pushed this river.
