Which is why I think I short-stack until you have a big enough BR to sit with deep stacks. You can take a lot more risks with short stacks when you know you have an edge and not worry too much about losing because it's not a huge part of BR. If you bust oh well it's not going to keep happening when you know what they have and get it in good all the time. I can't imagine it would take all that long to significantly increase your BR.

i like 6max for this better than heads up because people are more likely to give you credit for a better hand. heads up we'd have to increase the size of our bluffs because people are less likely to fold their good top pairs.
