Hmm.. as far as actual video games, the one I'm most proud to have finished up was Everquest. Although you can say that the game is never ending, when I retired last year I had beaten every boss in the game at least once (my guild got Overlord Mata Muran twice total before we went elsewhere and I was there for only one of them). Otherwise, when I left the game, we had beaten every expansion and every mob at least 5 times when I quit. Most of those first time victories were very rewarding and there was a high sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.

Much like we do in poker asking for "one time Lee", a bit after we had gotten to the Plane of Time, my guild had killed everything Quarm (second time we had cleared the place). We had tried a few times at Quarm, but didn't succeed. It was late and the guild leader on a whim said "one time all, lets get in one learning attempt at him". Our previous best was 61%. We ended up killing him and it wasn't even close, although by the end of it, I think that I was one of only 10 left standing. One of those fights that I was involved in that at the end, I don't think I stopped smiling for the next few days, and certainly didn't sleep well that night.

As for console games, I can't honestly remember when I ever just extremely happy when I beat a game. I mean, I think I got spoiled by the amount of time that I spent playing a game, that normally by the end, I just want it to be over with, so it mostly had to do with being relieved.

At the time, I was about 7 yrs old, and my uncle, nor my cousins could beat the game, and I did. I remember being on such a high.

Goldeneye with almost all cheats(was 14 at the time, two other friends were also trying to beat the game, they got stuck on 00 Aztec, took me weeks.)

TSB (SNES)-3 peat. Went 57-2 with the Bears.

With the Bears, huh? I always started to suck with a team that wasn't the Bills or Cowboys around Week 10.

One of my most favorite things to do in TSB was TE dump when they picked the same play as me. Automatic first down 99% of the time, as long as you can get the right target in time before you get sacked.

Baldur's Gate and BG2 for the computer ... so much time to beat these games, but always worth it.
