Default Epassporte vs. Check

Is there any reason to cashout via EPassporte instead of just asking for a check?

(on Pokerstars)

No difference. I like to keep money in my epassporte though in case my pokerstars gets low because it takes forever to load pstars otherwise. Once i have a decent amount in epassporte i just request checks.

Personally i would keep your money in a bank account not in epass. With everything that has happened with neteller.

Also if your account gets low it wouldnt hurt to wait the extra day or so to get money back into stars.

I think some people feel more secure withdrawing via arch withdraws or with the epass debit.

I get checks mailed from FTP though and dont play stars

Of course there are reasons to have epassporte, and withdrawing via check has its place too. I certainly like to give myself several options for withdrawl. Also, epass will be a much quicker solution to get small(ish) amounts of cash in hand quickly. After going through some pains with their CS, I can now go from poker site to $1500 cash in hand within ~24hrs. For any larger sums, or planned withdrawls where timing isn't a big issue, a check or a bank wire is a simpler solution. If you rely on the money in any fashion, you should be setup with several options so you can cover various scenarios.
