flop play is not quite horrible but it's pretty bad. donkeyboy bet 1/3 pot. if i'm raising with air i'm definitely doing it with top set.

turn: christ make a real raise. HE BET 1/3 POT AGAIN

river: shove it yourself; don't post this nonsense

@Bilbo:

I don't think hero has any difficulties getting stacks in on the turn or river against a smaller set.
Villain's preflop play and his small donk-bet on the flop lead me to believe that villain holding the case ace is even less likely.
I'd say let villain catch two pair or trips if he has anything and then stack him.

Louis: If Villain is "slowplaying" and Hero keeps raising small, then OF COURSE HE WILL HAVE DIFFICULTIES GETTING IT IN.

I said I don't consider calling the flop horrible. I never said hero is supposed to keep slowplaying on the turn and river.

well normally I would raise this flop, but villian probably has air most of the time why not just call and let him bet turn and get more value? I didn't think turn raise was that bad because any two pair hand villian has is going to shove over me. Am I completely retarded?

Pot is still tiny on the turn. You are way, way, way less likely to get it in on the turn.

Seriously, even idiots think about what your line means. What does call flop, raise turn usually mean? A monster.

What does raise flop usually mean? Good hand. Maybe monster, maybe draw, maybe TP that wants to "see where its at".

Tell me, which one do you want villain to think you have?

There really aren't too many real draws on the flop.

However, you should probably be raising this flop with air alot anyways.

But I don't hate slowplaying the flop assuming that you start raising larger somewhere.
