forget the fumble. if you waste 36 offensive plays to gain 55 yards, your team is in severe trouble, despite the connection between carries and victories that the talking heads love to remind us about.

yeah i def dont think you can blame it on edge. the fact taht that was his first fumble in like a yr or w/e suggests to me that there was pretty much nothing he could do about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't blame him for the fumble, just the sucking at running. He's trying to dance around into holes when he needs to realize there are only slivers of light, not holes, and you have to sprint through them, not side step. It looked to me like he was trying to protect his health by not running with greater intensity. At least he got a record. Apparently Az has $10 mil under the salary cap--that would probably get them two good linemen or 3 decent ones.

If these 36 plays are runs and you are up 20 against the greatest D we have seen in a while, I don't think you can be blamed for this.

There was no one lined up directly on tackle and only one guy in the same zip code to black.

That is so racist.

I'm aware the NFL doesn't refer to them that way but
I've always considerd the top 10 in the NFL the lottery teams.

only difference is you earn your spot by sucking

while in the NBA they let David Stern decide...though I'm not sure...do the lottery teams in the NBA go beyond the top 10?
I've always only considered the top ten lottery teams but I may be wrong.
