How do you bet middle set with...

So i got pocket 99 and opened 4x preflop. Short handed btw. flop is QC,9H,3H

how do you bet this hand with two players in the hand and you're first to act? do you want to open it for the pot or not?

Bet around the amount your continuation bets are. Checking is bad because if you check/raise or even check/call you are screaming strength.

Yeah checking wasn't even a question, I was just thinking how much to bet.. Do I want to drive players out or do I want company? That is my dilema. I was thinking I don't want to give the flush or strt draw good odds to draw, but I'm also not terribly worried cuz I could fill up. I suppose when I bet the pot that was a bit much, I will adjust to my normal continuation bet.
