the problem i think is that the read from the small re-raise is not usually that he's 'bad'. the read is that he's a donk calling station and that he has a big hand which he will never fold and you will not outdraw often enough to make it a profitable call. and K9 is probably the WORST POSSIBLE hand to call it with. It makes no two-card straights, no two-card flushes, and there's a relatively high risk that you're against AK or KK which is absolutely terrible for you.
