BARCELONA POKER ADVICE

Hi guys,

I am looking for any advice on poker tournaments in Barcelona.
Preferably the Casino Barcelona (host to EPT and WPT events).
I travel on Friday August 17th and am looking for tournaments on this day or the day after 18th. Any help would be really appreicated.

Book early the hotel. barcelonahotels.es

H10 Marina closet, other than the arts. If you can afford 600 euro a night, stay at the ARTS which is the tower right above the casino.

Next best place is AC Marina which is a 1 mile walk. Other than that anywhere in city is ok, the taxis are almost free, well maybe not if you are from USA =]

The cash games are 20-40 limit holdem, and 5-10 plo, sometimes NL. There sometimes are saturday 200 rebuy tourneys, but they are lame. Cash is good.

Everything is more expensive to Americans in Europe right now thanks to the weak dollar, but... The Burj Al Arab is a similiar price, and by all accounts definitely worth it. Can't say I see the point myself, but there're lots of good hotels in Barcelona.
