Default Evaluate this drinking prop bet

So while drunk tonight my friend makes some joke about taking a bunch of shots and throws out the number 80. I say he can not take 20 shots a day for 4 consecutive days. He is a college student and drinks a bit but he doesn't have some ungodly tolerance. He weighs 200lbs.

I am laying him the odds of 8 to 1 on 100$. If he throws up within 30minutes of taking a shot the shot is added back to the total. If he does not throw up a single time he receives a 100$ bonus. I clearly have the best of it in this right? I figure he can make it through day 2 but day 3 and 4 should be hell for him.

What he said ^
And also, can he divide them over the whole 24 hours or are there time constraints?

Vodka of my choice, which will be Popov of course, nothing but the best charcoal filtered vodka. He can spread them out but it must be 20 shots in each 24hr period.

I think it's possible. You can roughly process 1 shot/hr. Wake up at, say, 8, and take a double to get things started. Then, from 9-11, take one at the top of each hour. That's a total of 17. At 11:30, take a shot, and then at 12 take a double for a total of 20 before falling asleep. Assuming 1 shot/hr leaves your system, you'll have no more than 2 shots in your system between 8 AM and 11 PM, and your peak will be 4 shots at midnight, which hopefully you can sleep off with no ill effects. I don't think it would be fun and it would be a waste of 4 days, but I think it could be done.

8-to-1 seems to be a bit much. If he's smart, he'll do one shot an hour, then three or four in the hour before he sleeps. FWIW, I think it's doable for a 200 pound guy, but I definitely think it's going to be tough for him to finish. Does he have to do anything else during these four days (work, school, etc.)? Who buys the alcohol?

Keep us posted...if this works, I'll be challenging some people to this next semester.

The loser of the bet has to pay for the alcohol. While I know about how one can process 1 shot of alcohol per hour is there no a point of diminishing returns with that? I feel like after 3 days of that on your liver it wont be up to its normal capabilities.

This would be very possible, almost a sure thing if he trains for it.
