this is re: the first "hh" where it appeared you were 3bet preflop.

i'm a fan of playing a bit tighter against lags.
when i expect villain to 3bet a relatively large percentage of hands i tend to open muck, or perhaps limp, hands like K4o preflop. my reasoning is that i'd like to manage the pot size with my marginal hands. it's cliche but big pots are for big hands and k4o would almost never be considered a big hand before the flop.

if i limp a hand like this, it is with the intention of calling a raise to 3x or 4xbb. additionally, the limp/call line will only be profitable if your opponent will raise a very wide range of hands; i mostly only do this against absolute maniacs.
