Yes, we've been taking care of that when possible. Like always, you guys don't have to feel like you have work to do here. If you're tired of deleting those posts right now, don't worry about it. One of the reds will clean it all up ASAP anyway.

CAPTCHA isn't in the current version of UBB. We had the option in 7 and vB has it. But even then I'm not sure it would help. We're still dealing with a real person here. It may slightly slow him down at best.

There's honestly only so much we can do with someone who's determined like that. We could increase the flood check to make it harder to post a lot in a short period of time, and we can do the filter stuff. Beyond that, we'd have to try going after him in real life.

... legally of course.

I just had fun deleting about 10 spam posts from IB. There are 50 or so more floating around.

Is it possible we could add a few mods who have the power to actually delete a poster, to help clear this crap up more easily? Anyone who's around a lot for daytime, and also someone around at odds times for the US. I suggest Mike Haven or myself to the second one.

I live in mountain time US and stay up until about 2:30am local time. The problem is I'm asleep until about noon my time. I'm willing to help but it seems most of the time these spammers hit after I'm in bed.

My approach to these is that I'm now not touching them until a Red deals with it. Dealign with them one by one is just ridic.

Yes.

His pattern is to come back using 0s, 1s, and ls to get around the filter, but adding that to the list is still a good idea.
