Default Coaching Warning Discussion Thread

I understand the OP's frustration. snowbank is a SSNL regular, but if he sucks as a coach, I have no problem hanging him out to dry. We haven't had this kind of thread in SSNL so I moved it here for advice before the masses view it.

The natives are already getting restless. Link to thread asking why coaching thread was removed.

I don't really see anything wrong with the thread. I think discussing the merits of a guy offering coaching is more than fair game.

Just woke up, woot.

I guess I don't have issue with it 42. Snowbank has talked about his coaching numerous times in ssnl.

That's my gut feeling as well. We just haven't had a thread like this in SSNL so I want to get some opinions and then move it back if that is the consensus.

If you read the chat, it is a guy who upfront for some sessions, went busto and now wants his money back for the unused sessions. It just doesn't lend itself to discussing the merits of the coach (which would be fine). It will become a he said, she said type of situation pitting a well known poster against a new poster.

If it's fine with you, then Mike can go ahead and move it back. Just wanted to err on the cautious side.

Mat has said many times that coaches/affiliates can't spam their own services but users of these services are free to post commentary about said services.

I think leaving it there is fine. I doubt that player is just badmouthing snowbank for the hell of it.

I don't know either of the parties, but as a coach, I don't have any problem with this. If someone wanted money back from future sessions with me, I'd just ship it. I don't know why any decent player would want this kind of drama over a few hundred bucks.
