NL500: ATs TP 2-color turn checkraised twice
I feel like a lost child in this hand though probably it is like standard or something.
NL500, 5-handed. Hero is BTN with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and $669. Villain is BB with $590; he is 26/17/2.5 over 670 hands and a reg at this level but I am bad enough not to have more detailed reads other than that he's aggro. He hasn't done anything totally spewy that I have noticed. 2 folds, hero raises to $17.55, SB folds, BB calls. Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($37.50) BB checks, hero bets $30, BB raises to $100, hero calls. Turn 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($237.50) BB checks, hero bets $200, BB shoves ($271.50 to call), hero...? |

Re: NL500: ATs TP 2-color turn checkraised twice
i would never bet the turn unless i knew what i was doing when i shoved, i also think bet folding in general is pretty bad here

Re: NL500: ATs TP 2-color turn checkraised twice
So do you like bet-call on turn or check turn behind and call most rivers (e.g., most non-[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img])?
What do people usually double checkraise with? |

Re: NL500: ATs TP 2-color turn checkraised twice
I'd like to check turn and call most rivers. I think this almost always is a set or a draw that improves on turn. Like the 7hxh or Th8h.

Re: NL500: ATs TP 2-color turn checkraised twice
Yeah, well I thought "who the hell will checkraise turn again with a strong hand on such a drawy board when I would check behind most made hands?" so I bet totally expecting villain to call or fold. Those guys don't always cooperate.
I folded in the end, but perhaps I should have called, partially for information. Oh well, I'm not very good at this game . |
