[/ QUOTE ] Childs raised UTG with QQ, and Yang 3bet from UTG+1, so I still don't think he was bluffing. That's a weird, dumb spot to bluff from. When I was watching, it seemed very obvious after Childs stood up that he had QQ, meaning Yang probably had JJ+. In hindsight, this was probably incorrect, but at the time, I remember thinking it was a good laydown unless he was getting better than 2-to-1, and I don't think he was. [/ QUOTE ] I think it was about 2-1. And I said I wasn't sure about the action, thank you for the polite correction. I just think that Yang read strength generally, and if you aren't moving in on that flop, (which I thought was probably correct at that point), then you probably shouldn't have called the large reraise. It just leaves you in no-man's land, especially with Yang acting first. You have to decide if you are willing to play that hand for all your chips for at least most of the the flops, or I don't really understand calling. I don't like throwing away queens, but if I'm not planning on calling all bets...., if someone doesn't agree could you explain your point of view?

[/ QUOTE ] Actually I think the big hand was earlier when Lee Childs folded QQ. In hindsight, I would say it's 90%+ that Yang was bluffing there (or overplaying a worse hand). [/ QUOTE ] This really was huge. Yang was most likely bluffing and when Lee showed the QQ face up Yang was like "Wow, I can so run over this table the lord has blessed me good game sirs."

The whole flag waving by Lam before the hand was even dealt was a little odd btw.
So was the USA chanting. I guess I'll never understand nationalism :P

As for the USA chanting, it must be said that considering how there was only one USA guy among the final five, the fact that the USA player pulled it out was noteworthy. The last five countries were: USA, Canada, South Africa, Russia, and UK.
