Default 25 NL rivered 2 pair line check

Reads: relevant villain is button with $55. He is 33/17/2.8. I have $37.

Folded to me, I raise ATo in CO to $1, villain calls.

Flop: A72r

I bet $1.50, villain calls.

Turn: 5(completes rainbow)

I bet $2.50, villain calls.

River: 10

I check, villain bets $6, I c/r to $18.

1. Turn bet: too small or just right?
2. River c/r: like or no like?

1. Yes. Did you choose this size of bet to keep the pot small? Did you figure he would raise if checked to for 2/3 pot, 3/4?

2. Yes again but it may be too big if you are looking to get called.

I prefer a check/call on the turn for pot control. Check-raise on the river is nice, if you don't mind taking the risk that your opponent might check behind. As IJackit said, the raise might be too big unless you're sure your opponent has TPTK or a lower 2 pair.
