Default Playing bottom pair OOP

This is an example hand. I feel like I tend to not know what to do with bottom pair, in SB vs BB confrontations.

What are some good ways of playing it ?
It's a 50+5 if it matters.

Default Re: Playing bottom pair OOP

Its really hard to put him on a hand here since he checked from the BB.

I would guess he has King-Rag or 67 here.

The King-rag line looks like he doesnt like his kicker on the flop, so just calls and wants to make it look like the turn King scared him, hoping you would fire again on the river so he can raise.

I think the 67 line is reasonable too. He calls with the gutshot on the flop, checks the turn to get a free river. Hits 2nd pair and since you checked the turn and river he value bets hoping to get called by AQ, or a smaller pair.

Edit: I could also see him playing K3, K4, or 56 this way. So basically any hand I see him playing this way has me beat and I fold the river.

If u choose to just complete, I think your line is std/good here. I like the check on the river to induce a bluff, since you're not getting called from worse here if u bet. Are u only raising your very good hands here pre? I think that this is a pretty std spot to open here from the SB at this level.
