"3rd best team left in playoffs" really doesn't mean much at this point in the playoffs.

Both sens and the ducks have extremely high talented players, however it will come down to who wants it the most, and who is willing to spill their guts for it.

Really tough series to call. Will be exciting to watch.

[/ QUOTE ]

No disrespect to all the Sens fans here, but I think your team will be lucky to win two games. Your team has played really well and definitely deserves to be here. But your competition to this point hasn't really been all that tough. Watching some of the Eastern conference playoffs was really brutal, tons of turn overs, inability to execute basic breakouts, lack of desire to get to loose pucks, no commitment to defense. Like I said anything can happen in a seven game series, just don't expect to score on any one-on-threes against the Ducks(especially in OT).

Anyhow, best of luck to fans of both teams. I hope I'm wrong and it goes seven games, with a couple of overtime thrillers tucked in there somewhere, because when it's played well, there's nothing better in the world than playoff hockey.

I'm not a Sens fan but from what I have seen of the playoffs this year I have no idea where pokerspite is coming from. "lucky to win two games"? I think it is more likely to be the other way around. Sens in 5.

btw it is absolutely insane that the final has yet to start.

Yeah, the fact that it's over a [censored] week before the finals starts is an absolute joke. Give me a break Bettman... he wants to shorten the schedule, but does this? After the first rounds where some teams only had ONE day in-between rounds?

one day is pretty standard when your series goes 7 games.

this break is too long, but it's dictated by American television.

Also, whoever said the Sens will be lucky to win 2 games hasn't been watching the Sens.

Bump. I don't root for either team, but I'm really looking forward to this series, strictly from a hockey-fan standpoint. I think it goes VERY deep, Giguere wins at least one game by standing on his head, but Ottawa in 7.

The ice in Anaheim is just awful.

Both goals given up by Giguere were hilarious to watch, especially the one where he's concentrating on catching his stick as the puck goes whistling by his shoulder.
