Default $400nl: QK- 150bb deep: I bluff lots

I think this hand is interesting, hopefully it gets some good responses.

I have $600 and villain covers. I raise utg with KcQc. co calls. co seems to play a decent number of hands, and seems to be the type of player who would float.

Flop: 9d5s2s

I cbet $22, he calls.

Turn: 4h.

I check. He bets $39. I raise it to $121. He calls.

River: 2d

I bet $255.

Thoughts?

I like it... but are you sure he's capable of folding?
If he's just floating he wouldn't call your raise on turn. He has a little something here... do you see him folding? Is he going for the hero call? Sorry for not helping :S

dunno if he's capable of folding. he plays more hands than most, so his range is going to be bigger than most. i have played pretty tight so far. as long as he doesn't have a set(now a boat on river), i really can't see what can call me here.

He's trying to rep AA.

The problem is that when you take a "Tricky" line that is normally an overpair, bad players call you because you got "Tricky".

PS I do this quite a bit, or I used to, then everyone figured out I bluffed with it too much, so then I don't do it anymore... maybe i should start again....

ike,

would you prefer just betting 3 streets here instead of a turn check raise?

is this really a normal/good line for an overpair to take? do we basically just have to be pretty sure he's floating a lot for c-ring turn to be good? and vs. someone who rarely floats, a turn bet is probably better, right? just wondering about the merits of this line, ty

seems pretty reasonable I reckon. Once he just calls turn, you can't put him on more than one pair, and just to be sure the river counterfeited 54 too.

this is right on with what i was thinking. wasn't sure if my line seemed too weird for an overpair though, so if he can only put me on bluff or set i didn't know if it was a good move or not.
