Folding flopped wrap 3-way on rainbow board?
NOTE: It is CAP! The cap is only $40
I thought for the entire time before finally folding, the reasoning being that it seems pretty likely that someone else also has TK. Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 capped game 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) roggles is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, roggles calls, SB raises to $6, BB calls, UTG+1 folds, CO calls, roggles calls. Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($25, 4 players) SB bets $25, BB calls, CO folds, roggles folds. |

terrible fold in a capped game IMO. I mean, what flop are you looking for if youre not going to continue with that one?

Re: Folding flopped wrap 3-way on rainbow board?
1) No reason to assume someone else also has KT.
2) If they do, it's pretty unlikely they have better backdoor spades, AND a 9 in their hand to open them up to making the nuts with an 8. 3) Doesn't really seem to make sense to call a raise preflop with this holding and then fold to a single flop bet, does it? |

Re: Folding flopped wrap 3-way on rainbow board?
I find it likely that someone has TK because high wrap hands is a type of hand a lot of people play. TK appears often, and there is a lot of action from two different players. The only things to have on this flop are a straight draw or a set. So I find TK likely.
Twodimes show I have about 0.25 EV on money being put in here if another player has TK, and first player has AA. If SB has AA and the other player has a set I still only have 0.25 EV. So really, no matter what they have, I have bad equity in this spot. edit: I needed to tone down the last paragraph a little bit because chucky's comment made me angry. Are you guys sure you've really thought this hand through or are you just thinking "insta-allin wraps"? Also, I don't understand why you guys want to go all-in so much on draws just because it's cap... |

Re: Folding flopped wrap 3-way on rainbow board?
The reason why everyone is reacting this way is because this is a great flop for you. If you are folding on this flop, then you really should not play the hand.

Re: Folding flopped wrap 3-way on rainbow board?
I disagree. There are good spots on the flop for this hand. I don't think this is one (as per my argument above). The board is great for my hand, but my hand doesn't exist in a vacuum, there are other players. I think it's a bad spot, with my reasoning above. Do you think I am wrong?
