Default I\'m Sorry Jake

Since my recent banning for the creation of this thread, HUGE BRAG: Wife now in hell, I've had time to reflect on the error of my ways. Clearly, my post was a mocking gesture towards the joyous death of poster PuppyFridayYall's wife. To make my amends to Jake and his merrily deceased spouse I'd like to include a few of my favorite PuppyFridayYall posts. I'd hope others would join with me in doing the same.

stuffing envelopes? Business, Finance, and Investing PuppyFridayYall 02/13/07 03:23 PM

I've heard about this in trade mags and it seems to good to be true. There was an ad requesting that I send $20 in for a catalog of names of people who pay $1-$3 per stuffed envelope and they (the employers) send you the materials. It seems like to good to be true. I sent in the $20 on the chance that it might be honest for a change. Has anyone tryed anything like this before and what success did you have?

34 better than Aces in postion? High Stakes PuppyFridayYall 02/13/07 04:25 PM
[ QUOTE ]
I have often heard players saying that they would rather have 34 in postion than pocket rockets because it has a higher percentage of hitting on the flop. A few questions :- )

1. How would you play a hand like 34 in position if it really is better? Would you want to raise it as high as you would with rockets or would you want to raise it even more and hope for a good flop?

2. If you dont hit on the flop what should you do typically? In position. Out of position.

Jake

.05/.010 An Interesting Hand to Discuss Small Stakes PuppyFridayYall 02/14/07 05:36 AM
[ QUOTE ]
I just sat down at the table. Been watching table for awhile before I sat down to get the flow of the game :- ) . It seems to be a VERY conservative bunch. I sit and see K8 off and immediately shove. My view is that they will not call me nearly ever ESPECIALLY at this table. Also there are a lot of shorties at the table so in the even that I was call it wouldnt have been a big deal and I would have plenty of outs even up against rockets. My view with this table after watching for a half hour is that I can get people to lay down most pocket pairs here in this situation unless its a premium pair. Another reason I think this is interesting is because it lets people know I'm willing to gamble so I can easily get paid off when I hit a hand ;- ) If they see me going in with king eight when they see me turn over rockets the next time they wont know what hit em ;- )

Why are some people not Christian? Science, Math, and Philosophy PuppyFridayYall 02/23/07 10:51 PM
[ QUOTE ]
This has been something that has pestered me lately and I just don't think it makes sense inuitively to not be. Even more important and what I'm truly getting at is why do people not believe? I know there are satanics and other religions who do not believe in God but there are also people who do not have ANY FAITH whatsoever and my question is why?

1. It doesn't make psychological sense.
2. So the earth was made by whom then? ;- )
3. Why wouldn't you be? You have nothing to gain buy not following the word of God as he set it out.

I'm sure there are more people who can add to this in detail but this is what I could come up with on a moments notice.

Also, if anyone is interested in joining me in a prayer circle in IRC, PM me. I've become a newborn Christian as a result of this experience.
