he wouldn't check turn and river with 4-7 or probabaly not with 2-4 after you checked behind him on the turn. (but he might so that's the only hand you should be worried about at this point. Your raise on the flop is fine cause you have the OE straight draw to go with your set. Value betting your set i think is ok considering how the hand is played. He might call you with 2 pair or a lower set. What did he have?

That's pretty thin on the river in an unraised pot. This is a little different than the other thread where there's only one straight possible. I think that makes this more of a check behind because 24xx becomes a large part of his range here.

I'd say turn is questionable, though probably closer to a bet against passive calling stations. The only reason to check is because getting CR would suck a lot.

As played river VB is perfect.

To get value from what? I don't see anything calling other than 24.

shrug. people are stupid. I got called by a naked QQ on a K5T3K board yesterday after betting the flop and checking the turn. I had K5xx.

I don't know why anyone wouldn't raise this flop. Bet the turn as well, give him a chance to fold 24.

If he called the flop raise I don't think he ever plans on folding 24 on that turn.
