Default 200NL Live - QQ - Shortstack

1/2NL at Turning Stone. Lil confused on optimal flop play. Villain is terrible. Calls too much preflop, Calls too much postflop. Calls any draw, blah blah blah.

my thoughts are:
1. ****, another awesome flop for me!
2. Villian has ~$70 back.

what line are u taking?

yea. I bet you bet 25, he smooth calls hoping to trap his Ax. More I play live more i see players limp in with AK-A10 then call a big PFR.

25 dollar bet looks so weak here after making is 21 preflop. I think you have to bet at the very least 30 and that still seems kind of week. Would he really not raise you with a/k kings or queens preflop?

Teh way i see it at 1/2 live if someone is going to call you your big PFR after limping they almost always have an A. Maybe hes getting frisky with JJ-99 or something. If you bet 30+ it looks weak. What do you have after the PFR to bet so much and try to make this guy fold? Im either going to think you have AQ or QQ-1010.

If the bet is slightly smaller where it looks like your inducing me to call im only going to call if I can beat a weak A or a K. And again with your PFR and flop bet what are your repping? Either AK-AQs or QQ-1010.

I see guys all the time limp in with AK whatever position and sometimes limp in with AA or KK in either EP or the blinds.

If like OP said, villain is terrible, he could have almost anything. Suited cards (not even connectors), any A, any K, any two face cards, any pair, basically any hand.

How I'd play this depends on the villain a bit.

There are some guys where you can bet something small like $10 and accomplish the same as betting 25 or 30. They'll fold if they have nothing, and call if they have anything.

There are some guys that are just way too passive and will only bet if they have something, in which case I'd check/fold flop and turn and then bet the river if villain hasn't bet yet. If he doesn't have an A or K its going to be pretty hard for him to suck out on you so giving free cards isn't really a problem. This is probably my default play against a [censored] player who is going to call too much preflop and postflop. This is a crappy situation, I'm probably going to try and find a better one to get his money.

This is one of the worst possible flops, but there's no shame in check/folding this flop.
